The next stage of the adventure starts in late December 2018. Ressie will sail from Grenada in the Windward Islands to St Lucia to meet with the rest of the Word ARC fleet. On January 12, 2019, the adventure really begins. We sail first to Santa Marta in Columbia, and then explore the San Blas Islands before transiting the Panama Canal. In late February, Ressie will separate from the fleet to allow a long-planned solo leg from Panama to the Marquesas – nearly 4,000 nm. We will rejoin the fleet then and explore the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands before sailing on to the Cook Islands, Niue and Tonga. As we head west we will then visit the Lau Group of islands in Fiji, enjoy a big reunion at Muscat Cove, and then on to Vanuatu. Ressie will leave the fleet there, and either head to Brisbane or maybe New Zealand. Time will tell!
